Important Information

Check-out is no later than 9am

The resort will require a copy of the confirmation letter in order to check you in. It is a requirement that all Guests provide proof of identification in order to receive room keys. Guests may use their valid ID, driver's licence or passport as proof of identification. Guests who booked and paid for their accommodation using a credit card will need to present the same card at check-in. A security fee of R1000 will be taken as a pre-authorisation upon arrival.

Bookings

If the reservation is cancelled within 0 - 21 days from occupation date, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the reservation value. If the reservation is cancelled 22 days or more from occupation date there will be no cancellation fee.

You may not rent out the unit without the prior approval of management, nor may you “split” the period of the booking amongst separate guests not reflected on the official confirmation letter. Note that the unit is serviced for confirmed new arrivals on the stated check-in date only. Should you, in the opinion of management, fail to abide by these provisions, you, or the party claiming occupation, may be prevented from occupying and/or asked to vacate the unit, and you will be liable for the applicable penalty fee.

Resort Rules

Please do not leave children under 12 years old unsupervised anywhere in the resort. Please do not walk around in your pajamas in the common/public areas in the resort.

Children must at least be 12 years old to use these facilities. Please wear proper lycra swimming costumes. Cotton clothing is not allowed as the "fluff" tends to clog the pumps. Please do not use bath salts, bubble bath or any other such products in the pool or jacuzzi. Guests are welcome to pay a deposit to sign out beach towels from reception. Please do not take your unit towels outside of the unit or to the beach. Please make sure that you shower off all beach sand or suntan lotions off before using the heated pool. Please avoid roughhousing, ball games, jumping or diving into the pool.

No pets of any kind are allowed at the as per Department of Health regulations.

As per government legislation, smoking is prohibited in units or public area within the building. There are designated smoking areas on Plaza level - Tower Block floor 4 and outside the building.

Please respect your fellow guests' enjoyment by ensuring that there is no noise or disturbance at any time, but especially after 10pm. The playing of loud music at any time is not acceptable. The failure to adhere to this will result in the request to please vacate the unit and resort.

In the Unit

Please make sure all the windows and doors are closed when the air conditioner is on. Please switch off all in-room appliances before leaving your unit. Please do not throw rubbish or litter from the unit windows. Please do not hang your towels or wet clothing to dry from the unit windows or balconies as this is against Durban's municipal bylaws.

Cleaning services start daily at 8.30am. Your unit is serviced daily except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Please note that you may not ask the cleaning staff to do laundry or ironing during their working hours.

Yes. However, management cannot be held liable in case of loss or theft, whether the safe was used or not.
